Like Fish Bones

Description

"I used to see them more frequently as a child. Although he could not see them, my Grandfather knew they were there and told me they were nothing to fear.

I saw many types of spirits. Some were more solid and some were more transparent. Some looked like ordinary people, and others looked more ghastly and disfigured. One such was a skeleton, with no arms and a long ribcage going down the entire spine. The ribs were so thin and in such quantity they looked like that of a fish. "

I think that's the only one that still frightens me until this day

This picture was actually inspired by one of my friends real live accounts. One that was so creepy, I trouble sleeping the same night she told it.

Basically, she told me about how when she was younger she saw many different spirits and weird creatures at night or in plain sight. Some of which include a woman in full Victorian garb sitting at the end of her bed, a child with one eye and wing, and cloaked figures coming out of her closet.

But one of the creepiest tale she told me was one of a picture of a skeleton hovering above her bother, and it acutally appeared in the photo! She described it as having a lot more ribs than a normal skeltor and were very thin, like fish bones.

I've always been pretty sure of the exsitence of ghosts and paranormal activity, I'm even sure I had an experience when I was younger, but I had never actually seen such vivid manifestations like she did.
And something about that skeleton she described still gives me chills.

As frightning as her tale was, it did give me some inspiration.

I'm kind of on the fence about maybe Martin had a pre-story ability to see dead-folk. I also imagine him having little chats with dead poets and authors and such and maybe having a few horrific ones too.

But whatever I choose, I am pretty pleased with how this little speed paint went, not so happy about how the skeleton turned out

(was too lazy to look up a ref :( )
