It's Magic

“Look,” I said, as I cradled her small hand in mine.
She gasped as she looked down to find a small ball of bright fire burning calmly against her palm, flickering upon her skin, but never consuming it. She pulled her limb away from mine and held it close to her face. It lit her up like a star, and made her hair into a red halo.
“What is it?” She asked.
“Magic.” I said softly.
“I like it…very much…” she said softly.
